Intergalactic Peace Jelly Returns!

After more than 15 months, Intergalactic Peace Jelly finally returned on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Herman’s Hideaway in Denver, CO. The 45-minute set featured a Halloween theme in the form of a tribute to The Munsters. Not only did the band open with a signature Jelly take on The Munsters Theme, but the band’s costumes also followed suit. Schuster played the patriarch, Herman Munster. Devon and Bennie played the vampires, Grandpa Munster and Eddie Munster, respectively. JD played the oddball, Marilyn Munster. The setlist also featured mostly spooky tunes in honor of the season.

The Return of the Jell-Y

Intergalactic Peace Jelly will make their glorious full-scale return on October 29, 2020 at Herman’s Hideaway in Denver, CO. Their special Halloween-themed set will kick off at 8pm. The event will be fully tabled with limited capacity seating to account for social distancing protocols. Masks will be required for guests whenever they step away from their tables. There will also be BBQ available.

Help Us Raise Money for Children with Rare Biological Disorders!

This year, IPJ was asked to join the Troubadours, a group of Sing Me a Story artists who are essentially on call to write songs for stories that need them quickly. They were given the story “Up, Up, and Away” by a ten year old boy named Evan, who is involved with Sing Me A Story’s partner program, NORD (National Organization for Rare Diseases). The story was about Evan’s experience taking his first ever flying lesson, in which he was taught how to execute a “touch and go,” where he landed the plane and then immediately took off again.
